Would You Kindly – Experimental (2018)



This is an experimental rotoscoped animation I did back in 2018 when I was doing Visual Communications before switching a year later doing Digital Design majoring in VFX.

The brief ordered us to create an animation based on a “Catchphrase” we associate with. I chose “Would you Kindly”, a phrase that is often repeatedly said in a game ‘Bioshock’, released in 2007.

In the end credits, this is *NOT* motion-captured but Rotoscoped, back then when I didn’t know what “Rotoscoping” was back then.

The sketches and animations were done in done Adobe Photoshop, compositing, and text animations in After Effects, sound design in Avid Pro Tools, and editing are done in Premiere Pro.
