Video Tutorial – Using Content-Aware Fill
Video Tutorial – Content-Aware Fill in Photoshop presented by Mark Brion.
Content-Aware Fill is a fairly new addition to Adobe Photoshop and is only available as a Photoshop function. It is still not well known amongst many photographers.
The functions within Content-Aware fill allow for users to Patch their images, remove or move sa subject, scaling of the image filing, and extending pixels in Rasterised images.
Without getting overly technical, Photoshop selects pixels around the object that might work in that space.
An advanced algorithm powers Content-Aware Fill and these tools are becoming ever more powerful with each new version of photoshop.
Just as a footnote, Content-Aware Fill is not named after the designer of the function!!
