This is a tutorial on how to create a Freeze Frame effect in After Effects, as shown in my first example here:

The difference between this one and a lot of other freeze frame tutorials out there is that in this one, the frozen subjects actually go out of shot as the camera pans, and this is a little trickier than if it were a simpler static camera with no movement.
This tutorial is going to involve using the Warp Stabilizer, tracking in Mocha and rotoscoping.
