The Old Switcheroo



This video is part of a large student project for the University of Utah’s Arts and Technology Minor. 8 students each created a story about the same character and told it using different mediums. We had a comic book, stop motion video, animation, text/spoken word, and film.
I made this video using After Effects. Each element was created in Photoshop and animated in After Effects.
My goal was to create an animation that looked like a video game. I meant to portray the combining of the real world and the video game world. When we play video games we put ourselves in the game. What our characters do, we say it was our action. This connection does not actually exist, but what if it did?
