The Selection tool allows you to perform basic selections and edits. You can select specific edit points and perform simple trims. Select multiple clips and move them around within the timeline, from track to track.
How do I select a part of a clip in Premiere Pro?
To select only the audio or video portion of a clip, use the Selection tool and Alt-click (Windows) or Option-click (Mac OS) that portion. To select multiple clips by clicking, use the Selection tool and Shift-click each clip you want to select.
What is track select forward tool?
The track selection tool is used to select all clips from a given point on a particular track in the timeline. Position the mouse pointer where you would like to start the selection and click. To select an entire track, position the mouse right at the beginning.
How do you select all tracks in Premiere Pro?
An easy way to select exactly what you need is to use the A key. Hit it once, and you’ll be able to select everything to the right of your playhead. As an alternative, Shift + A selects everything to the left! To get back to your regular selection tool, just press the V key, and you’re good to go
