Quickly Remove Fills and Strokes in InDesign (Design Like a Pro)
The Tools panel includes icons that show the Fill and Stroke colors of a selected object. Whichever attribute overlaps the other is said to have focus.
The forward Slash key (/) is located in the lower right corner of many keyboards, next to the Shift key. Pressing this key will set the color of the focused attribute to None.
Pressing the X key toggles focus between the Fill and the Stroke.
To quickly remove the Fill and Stroke from a selected object press “/X/”.
