Music Meant Survival – Title Sequence
This is one of title sequences I have created. For this I wanted something soft and gentle. Working off a piece of art from on of the interviewees, did a rotoscope around the violinist, created a blue-hued background, a virtual key-light, and slightly adjusted these over the timeline. This was then eported to the Final Cut project.
For the final cut project, I worked with the lead editor and created most of the elements they would need. I created all the motion graphics, including the title sequence, text on screen & font design, up-scaling the standard definition video to HD. For the photos I would first adjust them in Photoshop, creating layers which could be moved independently in After Effects. I would import those assets into After Effects and create smooth motion with depth that would fit the story. Those would be rendered out and imported into the final edit.
