Steps on how to create leather text effect in Photoshop :-

1. First step is to select the Horizontal type tool and then select any font of your choice and set it’s appropriate size , the using the tool type in your text then using move tool place the text properly.

2. Now right click on the text layer and select Blending options over there and then click on Bevel and emboss and then set the following things :-
Technique : Chisel Hard , Depth : 245% or accordingly , Direction : Down , Size : 3px or accordingly , soften : 1px or accordingly , Angle : 100Deg or according to the direction of light , Shadow mode : Linear burn and it’s opacity : 28%.

So this will give you your leather text effect !
