La Quête Des Origines

School project I did in 2000.

To this day I consider the text to be one of the most powerful things I’ve read. In essence, it talks about the never-ending quest of humanity to define who we are, where we come from. To achieve that, we have come up with elaborate models, namely, religion, science, philosophy, and so on. Every time a new model is developed, its creators (ie, heralds) claim that it describes reality accurately, and eventually this is accepted as truth. But as time goes by, the model eventually becomes obsolete and a new model is created, to replace the old one.

The K is for the Kralizec logo, a death metal band that no longer exists. The text is the introduction to their eponymous album.
