FAQ:
When creating a new “book” create a “DOCUMENT” not a “book” on InDesign
Choose the pages you want (you can always add more)
This is also when you can choose the size of your pages and bleed (if you want one)

Bleed or no bleed?

If you choose bleed – fill the bleed with your illustrations, or solid page color, do not leave it empty. When exporting choose bleed. FOR MY DOCUMENT, from Patreon, the bleed has to go the full way.

Will it get cut off?
The bleed should get cut off – but you need to be prepared for ANYTHING within the bleed to show when you print. Always verify how it looks with digital proofs as well as printed copies.

Decide you don’t need or want it? Only pay attention to the white pages and export without a bleed.

How do I add more pages or delete pages?

In the right sidebar click on “pages” at the bottom, there will be a new page (white icon with a folded edge) that will add a new page. Always make sure to add two pages to keep it even. ALSO, keep in mind, if you have changed your book size settings since creating the document, the new pages may have old settings by accident.

To delete them, just highlight by clicking on them in the pages box and delete.
