Back again with the second episode of InDesign basics with todays InDesign tutorial; we are looking at the raw essential tools of InDesign and how they can be used.
This InDesign tutorial is very easy to follow and we slowly walk through the basic tools of the powerhouse software, making this tutorial perfect for InDesign beginners or newcomers. I can understand that InDesign may be daunting or confusing, and for most of is that is what it’s like when starting out with this software, but with this series on InDesign basics, but here at Satori Graphics I hope to shed some light on this amazing software!

First we will look at the 2 selection tools of InDesign, and how they can be used for various operations within Adobe InDesign.
We then move on to the type tool which is very basic and simple to use actually, followed by the InDesign rectangle and shape tools. To finish off the InDesign tutorial, we look at making gradients and cutting shapes in InDesign.
