How to Create Furry Text in Photoshop
Create hairy or furry text in Photoshop using text, a texture, and the magic of custom brushes. Make sure to check out my other Photoshop tutorials. Links below!
Tools used in this tutorial:
The Type Tool: Click and type! If you’ve ever used a word processing application, you already know how it works! Up on the Options Bar, you can change your typeface, font size, style, color, and so on!
Layer Masks: If there’s an area of your layer that you wish to hide (or bring back), Layer Masks will help you do that. Painting using a black brush will hide portions of the layer, and painting with a white brush will reveal them. Black and white gradients can also be used.
Custom brushes: Using the Brush panel, found under the Window menu, you’re able to create custom brushes by altering the size, spacing, dynamics, scattering, and so on. If you plan on using your custom brush in the future, make sure to save it!
