How To Blur A Face in iMovie

How To Blur A Face in iMovie

For some videos, you may want to blur a face in iMovie before exporting the video.  If you don’t have permission to use a video of a person, you should blur their face to protect their identity.
You can also do this for blurring objects such as the license plate on a car.

This option is not built-in iMovie and you need to take an extra step to do this.
You can use Canva to create a blur graphic that you can bring back to iMovie.
