How to ANIMATE YouTube Channel Art in Photoshop

YouTube (allowed) creators to upload ANIMATED GIFs for their channel art! This video shows you how to create a simple animation using Adobe Photoshop. This technique may no longer work on YouTube.

Download the YouTube channel art template: http://www.iceflowstudios.com/2013/articles/2013-youtube-channel-layout/

Tools used in this tutorial:

Timeline: To create the animation, the Timeline was accessed (under the Window menu). My adding keyframes, you’re able to set the starting and ending point for each object, and when played back (spacebar), you’ll see the animation.

Saving: When working with animation in Photoshop, you can either save it as an animated GIF or a movie file. If you’re planning on using the animation on the web, you may need to decrease the dimensions of the document and restrict the amount of colors used.
