This is a pretty much standard technique of taking a photograph into Photoshop and then masking out various parts to create several layers. Using the Clone Stamp tool I then filled in the spaces created by extracting parts of the photo. (Photo taken on Canon EOS 550D.)
The layers were then imported into After Effects, and each layer was moved forward or backward in Z-space to offset them in their relative position in depth.
Then a slow moving camera was applied. The text is on another layer in front of everything.
Layers are in the order; text, bee, flower, back petal and then background.
