Expanding Text / Spacing Title – After Effects & Premiere Pro Tutorial (QUICK)

How to create an expanding text spacing title (or text kerning tracking or animated title) in After Effects and export it with the right setting to overlay over footage in Premiere Pro.

Story: We wanted to achieve simple idea of having a text title with each letter slowly moving away from each other, sounds easy right?
Wrong! We found that it was not the simplest of tasks and can only be done in After Effects (don’t worry, nothing crazy), but once you know how to do, it really is simple!

Of course we aren’t the first person to make a tutorial on this effect, but when searching, we found that all of the tutorials were 10 minute + with a lot of unnecessary spiel. So we thought we would make it quick and simple, as this effect is!

Let me know if you would like a template project and I will sort something out!
