Through designing a simple booklet in this Adobe InDesign tutorial, you will learn the most important building blocks for book design. We will design a beautiful book (booklet in this tutorial, 4 pages) that is 5.5 by 8.5 inches. We will use the “Facing Pages” and “Primary Text Frame” features. You will learn about creating columns, using bleed, smart ways to insert (place) images into your design, and how to wrap text around your images. You will also learn how to use the Parent pages feature, which used to be called Master pages.
