In this video I’m going to walk you through my experience using Klutz GPT, an After Effects extension that allows you to access Chat GPT directly inside After Effects and is tailored to writing, applying, and debugging scripts and expressions. I have no script writing experience but was still able to use Klutz GPT to successfully create 3 useful, completely working scripts for After Effects. This blew my mind. Even better, through the process of working with the AI, I was able to start picking up on how the javascript code was working, and actually began to understand it and make my own modifications. The AI literally taught me how to code. If that doesn’t get you excited about AI, I don’t know what will. I’ve made all three dockable script panels available to download and even converted them into Kbar scriplet versions with custom icons. Try them out for yourself and let me know what you think!
