Create Fire effect using CC Particle World.

Here is one recipe using only After Effects and its native particle emitter.

1. Create a new comp and Create a New Solid Layer
2. Name it Fire
3. Apply CC Particle World

Change Following Properties of the Effect
1. Change Birthrate to 3
2. Under Physics change Animation to Fire, Gravity to .2, velocity to 0,
3. Under Particles change Particle type to Lens Bubble (Turn off the background to see)
4. Under Producer change Y value so that the emitter is closer to the ground

Add Fast Box Blur Effect ( video has Fast Blur)
Video has – do a fast blur vertically at 25 but I use 9 Blur Radius on Fast Box Blur

Add Turbulence Displace Effect
change the size to 10
evolutions to 250

Add Colorama
Under Input Phase – Change get phase from “Alpha”
Under Output Cycle – change User Preset Palette to “Fire”
Under Modify uncheck “Modify Alpha”
Turn your background back on to see the fire on black.

Add Sharpen and change to 20

Add Glow set Glow Radius to 100, glow threshold to 80%
