Animated Persona – Jack Longley



This video was created for my second project at University called ‘Animated Persona’. The brief was simple ‘create a short movie that functions as a personalised animated identity’, I have a love for motion graphics, shapes and text seamlessly moving around the screen in front of you, so I chose to take a motion graphic path with this project, the result of which is this video.

I used a combination of After Effects and Photoshop to create the video, with all the text animated by hand, frame-by-frame in Photoshop, and all the shapes created and animated in After Effects. I used Premiere Pro to edit the clips together and add the audio.
