After Effects Tutorial: Advanced Depth of Field (Lens Blur)
Well, here it is guys. Once you have your clip set up, duplicate it and precompose it and make a greyscale map of that scene. Static scenes are easier to work with, thats why I twixtored it to 0.5% speed. The Lens Blur plugin is fairly slow (including the whole process to set it up) but if you have the patients, the outcome is pretty much amazing. I also throw in a tip on how to create fog 😛
