Advanced Matte w/ Set Matte Effect – After Effects Tutorial
In this After Effects motion graphic tutorial we are going to be taking a look at how to utilize the built in Set Matte effect within After Effects. This effect is utilized to set mattes for multiple layers without relying on track mattes. In this video we will go over the various matte types such as: alpha matte, alpha inverted matte, luma matte, and luma inverted matte. With Set Matte effect, you can simple apply multiple mattes to one layer while maintaining a slim project file.
