2D Character Animation – Tutorial – Adobe Photoshop // After Effects



A short animation showing the process of creating a 2d animation, created for the weekly challenge – Monday’s Challenge.

This time the theme was “Blue Monday”, the task was to create a 5 second animation using only two colors. I decided to create a unicorn, who strongly experiencing this one day of the year.

I sped up the process of creating the sketch itself, because it is nothing groundbreaking, I mainly wanted to show how I created the masks and the movement itself in the animation.
